I've raised £5000 to To help my son get a running blade when he has his leg amputated in sept.

My son is 29 and absolutely brilliant, he has a 9 year old daughter who he worships.
3 years ago he had a motorbike accident where a tractor cut him up and sent him 30 feet down the road, he was left with a severe open tib and fib fracture nerve and tendon damage and nearly lost his leg, unfortunately the bones haven't knitted together and he is in severe pain everyday, his toes are now deformed and he has been walking round on a triple fracture for 2 years now with no cast and no help.
He has managed to carry n working with great difficulty and pain, he has never claimed benefits or felt sorry for himself he just got on with it, he has missed out on so much with his daughter, his holiday got cancelled and couldn't claim the money back.
So what I would like to do for him is hopefully get donations towards a running blade, we are already having garden sales where his daughter is selling all her toys, I'm going to shave my hair and friends are doing other bits.
He is such an inspiration to me, I'm so very proud of all the hurdles he has overcome, he is helpful and kind, never a horrible word about anyone, I am proud to be his mum.
He will be having a below the knee amputation all being good with the knee, he lives with us at the moment and has done since the accident, but hopefully will be able to get somewhere to live soon.
