Story
Firstly let me introduce myself; my name is Carol Hussey and I am a 17 year old student who wants to make a difference in the world. That is why...
On the 5th of July, I, along with a small group of other passionate young people, am going to Chemba in the Diocese of Kondoa in the heart of Tanzania. There I will teach at the village primary school and help build the new teenage and adult vocational centre.
I need this money to pay for my travel expenses to get me to these people in need.
One of the greatest gifts you can give is your time!
I want to be of service to the people of Chemba who have so little and I truly believe that education is the key to the route out of poverty for all. I also want to learn about their culture and to share this knowledge with everyone in my community back here at home.
