I've raised £800 to Help little Betty and Bella, the little Corfiot puppies to reach safety.

Little Betty and Bella have been abandoned outside a church in a village in Corfu, it is believed they were originally found in a rubbish bin. Gemma, a kindly local heard about them and has been giving them food and trying to keep them safe. Sadly other villagers have not been so kind and have been removing the food hoping that the puppies would disappear. Rescues on the island have been contacted but sadly they are all overflowing with puppies and adults in need of homes.
We were alerted to their plight via Facebook and just couldnt turn away, so Hereford and Worcester Animal Rescue have offered our help to these two little ones. We know that once they reach our care in the UK they will be guaranteed 5* homes.
Gemma has been able to get the puppies to safety today (15/09/17) and has been able to secure them temporary accommodation with CARE (Corfu Animal Rescue) whilst all the necessary vaccinations, microchips etc are carried out and passports issued, this will take a few weeks.
Costs of the vacs, chip and passport will cost £90 per puppy, the transport cost to the UK will be approximately £350 each - a lot of money but we feel they are worth it. Apparently stray dogs on the island run the risk of being poisoned at the end of the holiday season, we cant let this happen to these two.
Please help Betty and Bella to live the life they deserve, every £1.00 donated will make such a difference to their future.
