Luca's friend Oliver was born with Merosin Deficient Muscular Dystrophy. This is a rare form of Muscular Dystrophy and, as far as the family are aware, Oliver is the only boy in Scotland to have this life limiting muscle wasting disease. Oliver is 6 now and he is a happy, fun loving young man, he lives with his Mum, Dad and little sister Lucy in Livingston. His family and friends are currently involved in fundraising to help fund the shortfall for Oliver's extension - as he gets bigger he needs his own wheelchair accessible bedroom and bathroom downstairs. This should be fully funded by the council but, as is too often the case, they have been let down so it's up to us to pull together and help raise some money! I aim to run 5k with my dog Molly in Edinburgh's Dog Jog on 30th July so please give generously.
