Hi, thank you for taking time to look at my page. I'm the lady on the left in the photo. I suffer with an illness called MSA which makes everyday things very hard for me one thing that is a struggle everyday is climbing up & down the stairs I need my husband and a carer just to be able to get upstairs. Having a stairlift would make such a transformation to my life.

I first fell ill when I was 27 and for the next twenty years I was treated for Parkinson's disease, during this time I put family through hell, self harming and keeping the house in such mess, my family were sleeping on the floor. I went through a DIY stage thinking, if I couldn't do it before Parkinson's then I'd jolly well do it with Parkinson's. My husband used to come home to mounds of sawdust despite this my husband has stuck with me through thick and thin. Last year I was admitted to hospital where I was told it was MSA which is rarer than Parkinson's and a hundred times worse. My husband stuck by me all these years, I'm going to be 50 next year and might have to go into a care home sooner rather than later, having a stairlift would mean that I could stay in my own home for longer.
