I've raised £2000 to Purchase a racing wheelchair

Following a car accident in 2007 I suffered with complex regional pain syndrome which meant the nerves in my lower back and legs are messed up causing constant pain in my lower back, legs a weakness in my left hand side and also changes in sensation in my legs and feet eventually causing me to use a wheelchair most of the time.
Before this I had enjoyed doing charity running events for various charity's.
After watching the Paralympics in London I realised that there were sports out there that I could do. In 2013 I joined Corby NRG multi disability sports group to find my sport.
In 2015 I tried wheelchair racing through the academy in Corby and really enjoyed the feeling it gave me. I have found that when I am training or taking part in an event it reduces the pain caused by the CRPS and makes me forget about the pain caused by my condition.
At present I am using one of the academy's race chair which means I am restricted on the amount of training and also it is fitted around my specific to my needs caused by my condition and also body size. Once I have my own chair I will be able to train more often and my aim is to I raising money for charity's that mean a lot to me by doing road events and also aiming to complete a few marathons.
Any donations made, however small will be greatly appreciated and will help me to achieve my goal. Thank you
