I've raised £1000 to reduce social isolation and loneliness for older people in the District of Lichfield this Christmas and throughout the winter months.

Winter can be a lonely time for many older people with 1.2 million older people in the UK at risk of becoming socially isolated.
As the long nights draw in and people are busy with festivities, older people are at an even greater risk of becoming physically or mentally unwell.
The Lichfield Live at Home Scheme need the backing of the local community to ensure that they are able to support our older population as their needs increase; facilitating regular home visits for companionship and trusted support for those unable to get out due to ill health or adverse weather conditions, providing regular telephone contact to vulnerable, isolated older people living alone, providing support to access services such as the local supermarket, library and appointments and offering a range of activities, with disability enabled transport provision, each day to give older people an oportunity to get out into the community and be with friends.
Please, spare what you can, to help MHA Lichfield and District Live at Home Scheme bring warmth into the homes of all older people this winter.
