£110raised of £300 target by 4 supporters

Weʼve raised £110 to Help set up a second hand shop in the heart of Wyke community, with all profits going to local charities within the area.

    Wyke, Bradford
Funded on Thursday, 25th July 2019

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

As the people of Wyke know the charity shop that we currently manage is closing and because of the many signatures on our petition we know that it's going to be a huge loss to the community. Therefore myself and Gary want to open a second hand shop with all profits going to local charities within the area. We intend to donate to the food bank, local churches, toddler groups that are in need of funding. Children's centres, children's homes etc. In effect we believe that wherever funds are needed we will help. We believe that all our profits should stay within the community.

Good morning people of Wyke. Apology for not keeping you all up to date with the opening of Towngate Community Shop. Some of you may already know, myself and Gary have had a rough couple of months. I lost my Dad in April and Gary was rushed into hospital last month with severe pneumonia and was in intensive care for 4 weeks. Thankfully he pulled through and is home and on the way to recovery. The shop is now full steam ahead, the signs are up and myself and the team are getting the shop filled up. Hoping to be open within a couple of weeks.

Good morning good people of Wyke. Just wanted to give you all an update on the new shop. We will be signing the paperwork this week so we can get cracking on the fixtures and fittings inside. I understand people may be sceptical regarding donating to this cause but we can promise everyone that every single penny of the profits will be put back into the community, where it belongs. Myself and Gary are very excited about this new venture and hope you will support us in anyway you can. Thanking you all in advance

Just want to thank anyone that's looked at the page, shared the page and of course donated. The current charity shop that we manage is closing 15th March, so we are all the more determined to open another obe for the good people of Wyke.
