As some of you will already know, Caroline lost her fight against cancer on Monday 23rd September, while at home with people she loved, leaving her daughter Nichola. I’ve started this fundraiser to try and help Nichola give her mum a fitting send off.

Caroline was only diagnosed in June this year with a very aggressive cancer, while attending a routine appointment for something unrelated, and was told no treatment would help so to go and enjoy what time she had left. Nobody could tell her how long that would be but we knew it wouldn’t be too long. Caroline kept in good spirits these last few months but took a massive turn for the worse at the weekend, which sadly she never recovered from.

As this has all happened so quickly, she wasn’t prepared. Lots of people have asked if there’s any way they can contribute, hence the fundraiser.

Any money raised will go towards Caroline’s funeral, and if we raise over and above what’s needed, this will be donated to charity.
