Story
Due to budget cuts our parks receive very little or no funding from local councils to maintain and improve amenities, this includes plants, new play equipment and even bins!
We are very lucky to have a lovely park near us but they need a bit of help! Ava and I will taking part in a sponsored walk on the 5th August for the Friends of Bury Lodge Park to raise money to renovate the playground.
Each lap of the park is 1/4 of a mile and we have an hour between 11am-12 noon to complete as many laps as possible. If you are able to sponsor us we would be very grateful!
After the walk from 12 noon there is a fun day in the park, so come down and enjoy the fun!
