I've raised £200 to fund a race runner for Joshua Newham so that he can run safely without the fear of falling and hurting himself
Organised by Caroline Trevithick-Howells
Joshua has a rare genetic diagnosis of Micro deletion of sox 3. He found it very difficult to walk as a young child, requiring years of therapy to achieve this basic skill most others do without thinking. Ever since Joshua entered mainstream school he has wanted to run like his friends. This wish hasn't diminished and he has now discovered Race Running which will allow him to run without fear of falling. Once Joshua has a frame he will be able to join a race running club in Lincoln or hopefully a new one under development in Bingham.
