Evie is seriously ill at Nottingham Queens Hospital . Evies family were excited to be relocating back home to Grimsby when tragedy struck. The family had already given up their home in Manchester and were ready to start a new life, new jobs. So you can imagine the heartache and the strain they are currently experience . Evie has a brain anurism and this is the latest update "We're we are at currently at. Evies operation went well and although they did not end up removing the anurism in the end due to the risks because of were it is, they did remove some skull bones in that area to reduce the swelling that had formed that was causing the further problems and the bleed. That part was successful in that before one of her pupils was totally different to the others and only 1 was reacting to light due to major swelling and this is why she was rushed for the emergency scan and operation and after they were still like this she came back but now they are both reacting the same and are sufficient to suggest that it's helped. Nobody expected her to make it and she did n I'm so greatful. She is still in a coma obviously and back on life support in intensive care again but while she is being supported she is stable and she should be fine through tonight as she is being fully helped. Tomorrow if she is still stable they will try again to slowly reduce support bit by bit and see what happens as this is the only way they know what is ok and what isnt and we have no idea what she may or may not be able to do on her own or if she will definatly wake up when this happens and if she does we expect there to be damage but we are just greatfull she is currently still here and still fighting and that's thanks to the amazing neurosurgeons and picu staff here and everyone supporting her. it is notthigham queens medical pediatric intensive care unit " PLEASE support this family , they are in between jobs, houses and need help - Caroline & Danny Borrell xxx
