I've raised £25000 to help fund Caroline’s cancer treatment now NHS options are exhausted

Thanks for visiting my cancer funding page. Most of you will know my story, but as a quick summary, in September 2018, age 33, with a 1 year old child, and seemingly healthy, I was diagnosed with stage IV incurable cancer. Since then, I have been through a pretty brutal treatment regime with spinal and heart surgeries, radiotherapy and multiple rounds of three different chemotherapies/ targeted drug treatments. Despite being under the care of an excellent oncologist and team at St Bartholemew’s NHS hospital in London, sadly my cancer appears to be aggressive and nothing has fully worked to stop the disease spreading. We were recently told the devastating news that I am now out of options on the NHS, but luckily there are still a few things we can try privately. Whilst we are fortunate to have been able to pay for these private options with savings so far, costs are beginning to mount up and are likely to escalate in coming weeks (we expect them to reach in excess of £20,000 before Christmas alone), so we have set up this page to accept the generous offers of fundraising and donations that many of you have made. We are hugely grateful for such offers of support at this challenging time and thank you so much for any amount you are able to raise or give. Caroline, Brian and Oscar x
Money raised will initially be used for a liver biopsy and tumour mutation testing to work out the best treatment plan (£5k), a specialised scan to test for neuroendocrine cancer (£3k), cancer drug Avastin, not available on NHS (circa £4k per month) and ongoing oncologist/ consultant appointments (£200+ per meeting).
