I've raised £1000 to Help a driving instructor who is too ill to run his company & support his young family

UPDATE
Sadly Simon lost his battle & died on 28/2/2019. The sponsored walk has been delayed & a new date has not yet been decided. We are still continuing with fundraising to help his devastated family. Please keep giving!!
Simon Wainwright is a local driving instructor who has been diagnosed with liver failure, is very ill & desperately needs a liver transplant. He is too ill to work & run his business. He is currently in Freeman Hospital in ICU. He has a young family whose lives have been turned upside down. His family are spending all their time travelling daily to Freeman Hospital to visit Simon as well as taking their young son to school.
As driving instructors we are all self employed & if we cant work we are not entitled to any government entitlements like sick pay. This can put a huge strain on a family when they already have Simon's health to worry about.
Caroline's School of Motoring is hoping to raise £1000 or more to help with their general bills, travel & parking expenses to & from Freeman Hospital.
Simon was an instructor for Caroline's School of Motoring when he first started out as an instructor before setting up his own driving school SimonSaysPass. He is well respected instructor in the Durham area & a very good friend to many people.
At Caroline's School of Motoring we are doing a 10 mile sponsored walk on Sunday 10th March 2019.
