I am taking a three and a half week trip to Swaziland and Mozambique in Africa in July 2019 with World Challenge. World Challenge will be an amazing adventure made up of 4 main goals: explore, challenge, contribute and 'chill out'. It is an opportunity I will never have again, to come together as a group and plan our trip together. In order to go on this trip I need to raise £4,150. Although a big amount, every penny helps so please give whatever you can! I will also be doing other things to fundraise such as saving pocket money, babysitting and working for my dad's company during holidays.

I will be embarking on a trek around the Malolotja Nature Reserve, Swaziland as part of my exploration. I will also have the chance to explore Mozambique's tropical coastline. This will be an amazing opportunity for me and I am excited to broaden my horizons and explore the African nature and animals.

As part of my contribution, I have many options of how I want to help local communities. Whether its helping with whale shark conservation projects in Mozambique or supporting National Care Points in Swaziland- I am yet to decide. Either way I am excited to immerse myself in the local communities and absorb the vibrancy of everything African culture has to offer- sing, dance, eat , play, laugh!

Although a pretty full trip, we will have time to relax. We will have the chance to choose our activities during this part of the trip. We can choose from anything like safari, white water rafting, zip lining or head to the white sandy beaches on the Indian Ocean to snorkel alongside majestic whale sharks or just get some well earned rest.

I think its fair to say this trip will be a challenge- after all it is called World CHALLENGE! Every element of this trip is challenging- from fundraising to the physical challenge of the trek and contribution element.
