20 yrs ago on the 1st of April I was given the gift of life. A family in their darkest hr selflessly donated their sons organs to allow others to live. I was one of those people. I am hoping to raise some money for the renal unit/research in BCH who have been caring for me for the past 25yrs. The BCH renal team provide amazing care for people with renal disease in nother ireland

I would also like to take this opportunity to raise a little awareness on how vital organ donation is and the importance of having a conversation with your loved ones.
Through organ donation I have been able to live a full and healthy life! I now have an amazing little family of my own and have pursued a career in nursing that I love.
