Story

My son is 21 years old, with multiple needs due to having numerous health conditions. He has degenerating discs in his spine, autism and various other conditions He tries really hard to carry on regardless but does struggle. He did really well during his education, despite being in constant pain and achieved fantastic exam results. He was offered a place at one of the best Universities to study physics, sadly after 3 months he had to leave as he couldn't cope with studying whist in constant pain, the effect of the pain medication. He has to spend the majority of his time in bed to ease his pain, has written 2 books which I am helping him to try to get published. He has very little social interaction due to mobility issues but has managed to go to go to a few social gatherings. He does find socialising difficult due to his autism, panic attacks and anxiety- these generally are caused by severe pain and his worry about falling over. I have to get crutches for him from Germany as UK ones are just too small, and although he has had god use out of these as his condition degenerates he is desperate for a wheel chair. Again- at 6ft 10" finding a wheelchair is not easy . As a single parent, I just cant afford this. He is unable to work so funds are really limited.

Having a wheelchair he could actually fit into would change his life.

this is the one we would like to get for him
