Story

A few of us are walking the yorkshire 3 peaks to raise money for the stroke garden at fairfield general hospital! The stroke garden at Fairfield Heneral hospital is an oasis of calm for stroke patients, somewhere quiet they can concentrate on rehabilitation with staff, or spend time with loved ones away from the busy wards. The garden is also acts as an additional therapy area where physical and cognitive rehab sessions can be delivered. The stroke unit wants to raise money for the general upkeep of the garden and to also fund two work benches and outdoor display cabinets. They also want a mini greenhouse, a pergoda and a pull-out canopy.
