I want to raise money for my daughter to help towards her MA fashion course at Central St Martins University in London, She has already completed her 4 year BA course at St Martins and due to her year ending 2020 , covid began and she never got her graduation. An outcome of this meant her final collection didnt get shown on a runway/ show which could have showcased her work to perspective clients/work ect. She worked so hard on over the 4 Yr course and this was upsetting to her. She has been lucky and privileged to work alongside Designers such as Vivienne Westwood and Balenciaga, As well as musicians such as Arca, and FKA twigs. While doing all this she has also been medically transitioning from male to female and battling with mental health depression and high level anxiety. Which doesn't help when living with the realities of daily gender dysphoria. SLID has tried so hard every year and particularly this year to obtain scholarships through her uni but has unfortunately been unsuccessful every time. She really needed to get one this time but luck was not on her side. So she's battling through trying to do bits of work here and there but not easy when your a full time student, costs of living in London are extortionate and she really deserves this help for her to fulfil her dream of becoming a fashion designer and having her own label and getting her work out there. Every penny will help her to achieve her dream but she's not from a wealthy family so I'm having to do this to help her in the only way I can. I'm one very proud mum but it breaks my heart to not be able to help her financially.
