Story
When James was 20 years old he was involved in a serious road traffic accident which left him in a coma for several months, fighting for his life. As a family we stood by his side night and day, praying he would come back to us. 13 years ago we were all terrified that he would never wake up. Until new year came and he opened his eyes. We were all so happy to have James back, despite the heart breaking news of his severe brain injury. He recovered very slowly and eventually left the care of Frenchay Hospital who sent him to Bath Hospital for rehabilitation. James worked so hard to get himself back on his feet and with the care and support of staff and family, we had him back home.
The last 13 years have seen James' mental health decline, which we are aware, is a result of a brain injury. There is so much i could say about all the good people that have guided James along his way, however, he has experienced many failings from the services there to help him. Time after time he asked for help, time after time we as a family asked for help. But help was limited and never truly benefited him in the way he needed it. The years went on and his mental health declined significantly. There appeared to be no way out for him which triggered his suicidal thoughts and attempts. By this time we were all pleading for help , but it just did not come in the form that he needed.
13 years later, on the 16th of November 2017, James finally found peace and is now in the arms of the angels, who will keep him safe until we all meet again. Please donate what ever you can, to help give James the send of to heaven that he deserves
For those of who have never met him, for those of you that know him, for those of you that remember him, for those of you that love him and for those he loved.... Thank you.....Thank you for all of your prayers help and kindness.
