    Story

I’m currently raising funds for the Shireshead & Forton Ladies Cricket Club. The ladies cricket team is part of the main Shireshead & Forton club which can trace its origins back to 1909. I started playing with the club in 2015, after watching my dad and granddad play there for years.

As we enter our third year we will be playing in the T20 league. The club encourages girls and women of all ages and abilities to come along and get involved. It’s a great way to make friends, keep fit, and enjoy cricket. Sometimes cricket is little forgotten in rural areas, and especially women’s/girls’ cricket. Therefore, the importance of these local teams cannot be underestimated.

In order to compete we rely on sponsorship and donations to help with general running costs and kits. Thank you to Lanes Vets, Haldane Fisher, Lancaster Printing and RE Buildings, who have already kindly sponsored us.

We are grateful for any donations, large or small. Anyone who donates £3.00 or more will receive one of our club wristbands. (This includes postage and packaging.) To claim yours, please email sales@lancasterprinting.co.uk with your name and address once you have made your donation.

    Thank you for your support!
