Story
Following on from my last campaign where we raised £6,000 to support women in Afghanistan, I have chosen to continue to support one of the families we reached. For those that followed my stories on instagram you will have seen Qudratullah, the young man who had type 1 diabetes. He was the only man in his family, supporting a wife, mother and 4 children under the age of 7. Without a male in the family, it is imposible to work. Your funds enabled him to access medication and work for an extra year. But things have changed as he died suddenly last week.
The family now have zero income. This campaign will help to provide food and heat for them over the course of this year with any leftovers going towards English lessons for the children. My focus is on trying to get the children as educated and work ready as possible over the coming years. If they learn English they can enter the tourism field, something that is growing in popularity in Bamyan where they live.
