Carson was a 7 year old boy who sadly lost his three year battle with a rare form of brain cancer. During the three years he battled he underwent multiple brain surgeries to remove tumours that were aggressively growing. Throughout his battle, Carson never once gave up and till the very end done things his own way. Lynne (carsons mum) is a single parent of another five children, two of whom are still dependant on their mum to provide for them, which has been difficult with the long stays away in edinburgh so carson could receive the surgery and chemo he required to try and save this young warrior. The stays have drained my mum financially though and this is making it difficult to give carson the send off he deserves. Its heartbreaking to think that my mum cant go with the options she would have liked. My mum has frequently denied help from charities and friends alike, as she feel its her burden to carry. Any generosity will be greatly appreciated and all monies raised will go towards the funeral itself and any extra will go to my mum in order to lift the pressures of returning to work whilst still grieving the loss of her youngest child.
