Story

Peter Vardy CarStore Glasgow have been nominated to support our chosen charity partner for 2019 SAM's Club Glasgow.

To kick off our events for 2019. CarStore Glasgow are doing The Paratrooper Challenge. A 67.5 mile walk through the Rob Roy Way from Aberfeldy to Drymen. This is a seriously tough challenge but the team are more than up for it. So please show your generosity.

This will help sustain and further develop our Children’s Club for vulnerable children and young people with disabilities and/or multiple additional support needs living in the North-East End of Glasgow. Our Children’s Club provides a safe, supportive, and inclusive space for these often-excluded children and young people to interact in a range of activities that support their mental, physical, and social development as well as improve their health, wellbeing, and overall quality of life. We look forward to an exciting year for SAMs.

We support children and young people aged 3-18 years affected by a range of disabilities and/or multiple additional support needs including Angleman Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Down’s Syndrome, Visual/Hearing Impairment, Autism and Aspergers, Global Development Delay, Cystic Fibrosis, ADHD, and more, with many requiring one-to-one care We believe that providing each child/young person with respect, encouragement and the right support can help them realise their true potential and build a solid foundation for lifelong success.
