Story

On 21st September 2018, our beautiful son Carter had a terrible accident at home. As he was so small, he needed to immediate help so the amazing team at the Essex and Hertfordshire Air Ambulance were called. Due to their speed, medical assistance and general control of the situation, our little boy made it to hospital and was able to be treated. After months of treatment he is now a healthy, happy little boy who has just celebrated his first birthday!

Without the Air Ambulance, I am in no doubt that he would not be here with us today. I didn't realise until that day, that they are a charity organisation who receive no government funding and rely solely on donations to operate. The cost of one mission, the flight to Carter that day, is £2250 - and the amazing children, staff and parents at Windhill21 school have already helped to raise £1300. We are now dedicated to raise the remaining £1000 to thank them for their life saving service and to ensure that they can still be there for those who desperately need them.
