The Gynae Oncology Nursing Team are dusting off their trainers and putting their best feet forward to take part in the Bangor 2025 half Marathon in October

We are hoping to raise £1500 toward the cost of creating a relaxed and welcoming space, separate from the clinical environment, where we can talk to patients about their cancer diagnosis and treatment.

Space is tight in the Gynae Outpatients Department. The room the nursing team often find ourselves in is small and stark with no window. It can feel claustrophobic and unwelcoming - far from ideal for helping ladies feel supported at a time when they are upset and vulnerable, often having just received a life changing cancer diagnosis

The money raised will go towards transforming this room into a welcoming environment where ladies and their loved ones feel more at ease and comfortable.

Please support Christine, Caryl and Lia whilst they take on the Bangor Half to improve the care for the ladies of North Wales who are diagnosed with a gynaecological cancer
