Wandsworth Council is restoring the Cascades, Battersea Park’s historic waterfall, and bringing its magic back for everyone to enjoy. With support from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, the project will see the waterfall flow again, this time powered sustainably by solar energy. Alongside the restoration, the council will be forming new volunteer and community groups, running inclusive activities and events, and gathering data to help protect the park’s biodiversity for future generations.
