Story

The money raised is to help cover the cost of a minibus for the year for the Kavanagh Special Club.

There are a lot of people who feel isolated and lonely in the Greenford community and who are suffering in silence. The aim of the Kavanagh Special Club is to help enrich these people's lives by getting them out to weekly social meetings and on occasional day trips so they are not always alone.

The members of the club do not have their own transport and are not able to use public transport on their own. Quite simply without the minibus the club would no longer exist. The cost is £2,000 per annum and in recent years it has proved very difficult to meet this figure.

On the 30th September I will be running the Ealing half marathon to help raise awareness of the club and with your support in the form of donations, we can ensure that the minibus can be hired for the year and that the club can continue to operate and to hopefully grow and include more and more people.

Your support is greatly appreciated, thank you so much :).
