Story
I am doing this challenge to raise money to help a cause very close to my heart. I have decided to climb Kilimanjaro from my own hone. Every day for 7 days i will be climbing my stairs 332 times which is the equivalent of 6000m.
Cape Verde is a island just off the coast of Africa which relies heavily on tourism. During this global pandemic the stop on all travel has put a massive strain on the Cape Verdean people. As all hotels have closed people have no jobs or ways to earn a living and theres no benefit system available so the people are struggling to feed themselves and there families.
For just £10 you can feed a family of 2-4 people for a week with basic food packages with the essentials. The Cape Verdean people are happy , friendly and generous and i would like to help out in anway i can.
Any support you can give would be greatly appreciated as every little helps.

3 years agoSo todayās the final day. Itās a hot one today so itās going to be a difficult one. I thought Iād add a little perspective to what Iām doing. Someone promised an extra Ā£20 donation of my mum and dad did 50 sets of stairs each on the final day. My dad struggled a little bit did it in one go. My mum on the other hand struggled a lot and had to break it into 3 attempts š¬. Iām just about to do my last climb and Iāll be doing the final update tomorrow. Thank you so much to everyone that has supported me it means so much
