We are raising £500 for For Keeps Casting.

As many of you reading this will know, heartbreakingly our son, Clay Daniel Wankiewicz passed away shortly after he was born on 14th July 2020. In the aftermath of this life changing loss, a friend recommended For Keeps Casting, so we could have hand and feet castings for Clay. For Keeps Castings kindly visited the chapel of rest and took Clays hand and foot castings. These items are some of the most treasured items we own, which are invaluable to us.

For Clays birthday every year we ask family, friends and anybody who wants to participate to join us in spreading love and kindness in Clays memory via Kindness For Clay. Everybody completes a random act of kindness, which can be donating to a good cause or a charity. This year, for Clays 5th birthday we would like to try and raise £500 to gift to For Keeps Casting which will go towards covering costs of castings for babies of bereaved families.

We would like to think of this as “Castings From Clay”, and although Clay isn’t physically here with us to celebrate his birthday like he should be, it warms our heart and makes an incredibly hard day slightly easier knowing love and kindness is being spread in his name and memory.
