A friend of mine was recently talking about her experience of being hospitalised because of cancer during the Christmas period. She shared that while the staff were wonderful, she felt forgotten and very lonely. I came up with a way to help hospitalised patients feel loved and cared for this Christmas: by creating small gift/care packages that I can make up and donate to Castle Hill Hospital, who offer world class care for patients with cancer and blood disorders.

My goal of £400 will allow me to create and donate 40 care packages. They will include items such as natural hand cream, adult colouring books, CDs, bed socks etc and I'm working closely with the hospital to make sure each package is suitable for the patients.

I appreciate any support you can provide. I'm looking forward to seeing the smiles when I drop these packages at the hospital over the Christmas period :)
