Story
I Castro Moyo, (Mpuphu) have been admitted to the University of Hertfordshire to study BSc in Radiotherapy in September 2018. I am a leading pastor of the 12 apostles church in Leicester . I have helped a lot of individuals achieve their dreams by giving emotional, spiritual, social and physical support in times of need particularly the Zimbabwean communities in the United Kingdom .
I arrived in the United Kingdom, in 2006 as a refuge, and my application was not decided until 2013, however due to my immigration status as a registered asylum which automatically prevents me accessing student Finance l am unable to pay my fees. Therefore l am appealing to family, friends and well-wishers if they can sponsor me to pursue my dream. I have managed to raise £3000.00 which will go towards my degree. My student loan application was turned down due to my residency status.
It has been a lifelong dream for me, to study Radiotherapy at a higher level. Studying Radiotherapy, combining my knowledge of physics, with my warm , caring attitude would provide me with the opportunity to help others. Working and volunteering, as a support worker developed my communication skills which are invaluable . This experience has taught me the value of patience and empathy. From this, l came to realise that my future career l want to combine my love of science with human interaction.
Upon completion of my course l would eventually like to pursue a career in the NHS as a Radiotherapist. I am a hardworking and compassionate individual, and l believe l will thrive in the benevolent career in Radiotherapy.
Please help me pursue my dream. Thank You & God Bless.
