In Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine, everyday civilians face a devastating and persistent campaign of drone and missile strikes that disproportionately target schools, healthcare facilities, and public transit. For the educators and transport staff keeping this frontline city alive, going to work means operating under the constant threat of mass casualty events, where uncontrolled bleeding is the leading cause of preventable death. To directly combat this reality, Casus Pax is launching a three-month deployment to Zaporizhzhia, turning everyday municipal infrastructure into an active network of emergency response.

Our principle objective is to improve immediate frontline survivability through five core initiatives: delivering tactical medical training to over 900 public sector workers, outfitting every single bus and tram in the city with tourniquets to create a citywide, roving first aid solution, and delivering over 3 tonnes of critical medical equipment, protective netting, PPE, and rehabilitation supplies. Furthermore, we are delivering six dedicated rescue and medical evacuation vehicles, alongside dozens of language workshops and youth wellbeing events to support long-term psychological resilience.

With an estimated social impact value exceeding £300,000, this operation transforms ordinary public servants into life-saving first responders.
