Cheeky I know - but I am trying to raise money to fund my trip to Rotterdam to compete in the 2017 World Championships! I have always enjoyed running, however loosing my Mum when she was 40 (and I was 12) I decided to do something memorable to 'celebrate' my 40th ... so ... I learnt to swim, I trained hard and last year, on my actual 40th birthday I completed a very emotional Windsor Standard distance triathlon...since then it has been a whirlwind! For the last year my training has been hard, focused and I have raced regularly. Last week I received an email saying that I had been selected to race in my Age Group for GB in the World Championships, sprint distance triathlon, in Rotterdam, in 5 weeks time! I am so excited! Unfortunately the whole trip is very expensive and requires more kit than I first thought, so I would love some help please..

My business (TeamMama) is training post natal Mums back to strength and fitness - they are a daily inspiration to me in their achievements; I am also a Mum of three amazing kids, and have a wonderfully supportive husband, family and friends who I seriously would not be able to do this all without. I would love this opportunity to make everyone I know proud and show them that AGE IS ONLY A NUMBER and give my kids the inspiration to get out there and achieve their goals, no matter how crazy they seem.
