💔🚨 EMERGENCY – PLEASE HELP SAVE GIZMO 🚨💔

My heart is breaking as I write this… little Gizmo is fighting for his life right now. 😓

Some of you may remember Gizmo. He came into the rescue as a little, fragile kitten with a very low immune system. Since then, this brave little soul has faced more battles than most cats ever should. He’s fought through lungworm, lives with a heart murmur, and he nearly died during his leg amputation surgery. But somehow… he kept going. Because that’s who Gizmo is — a fighter. 🐾

But today, he’s in the fight of his life.

Gizmo has suddenly taken a devastating turn. He’s now jaundiced, extremely weak, and refusing to eat. In the early hours of this morning I tried feeding him a little lic e lix treat by hand just to get something into him… but he vomited it straight back up. His mouth looks sore and he has a high temperature.

The vets are deeply concerned.

They’ve told us this could be FIP, a severe viral infection, toxoplasmosis or lymphoma. His lymph nodes are enlarged, and they have already taken bloods, swabs, and a sample from his spleen to try and find answers. Right now he’s on an IV line and anti-sickness medication because he keeps being sick.

This little boy is only just over one year old… he should be playing, climbing, and enjoying life — not lying in a vet hospital fighting to survive. 💔

Three days ago his emergency care had already reached £2,200, and that is only the beginning of what may be needed to save him.💔😔 Each day that cost rises and with all the other emergency intakes it’s all piling up at once.
