I'm a recently qualified History teacher beginning my Master's Degree in International Development and Education. I'll be focusing on how new improvements made to the education system in developing countries and low income areas can minimise poverty and risk amongst children and the community.

Through university, I've been offered the valuable opportunity of a four week placement through the Omega School Foundation, based in Ghana, whose achievements you can read about via this link: http://www.omega-schools.com/index.php.

This opportunity would provide me with a hands on experience and better understanding of the challenges these children face on a daily basis, as well as providing the starting point for my research into the future of learning within communities such as these.
