Story

Personal Protective Equipment is vital for NHS staff, it's quite literally the difference between life and death for some healthcare workers, and yet there is a deeply concerning shortage. My brother Matt is now using his 3D printer to voluntarily make PPE visors for the NHS and Carers - it’s part of a nationwide coordinated effort. However, there are noticeably far fewer people producing the visors in East Lancashire than other parts of the UK, particularly the South. Matt is funding this himself, even though he’s currently not working. He's happy to keep donating his time for free to help, but with your help too, he could make a much bigger difference.

It takes over 4 hours just to print 2 visors, if he had a second printer he could more than double capacity - you only have to read the news to appreciate how vital this voluntary contribution is to protecting our front line Care staff. Likewise, if he had more materials, more vulnerable staff would be protected.

If you can donate even the smallest amount it would help to make a big difference. Please give generously.
