£0raised of £5,000 target by 0 supporters

Weʼve raised £0 to build a deck and ramp for access to our house for our daughter, Catriona.

    What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Our daughter, Cat, has learning and physical disabilities which limit her understanding and mobility.

Cat is a very happy and sociable girl. She loves to chat to her friends and neighbours regularly.

She uses a wheelchair when out and about, when the weather is bad (we're in Scotland, so it can be a regular occurrence) and when she is tired.

We have adapted the interior of our home to suit her needs, but as she has grown, it has become more apparent that she needs to use her wheelchair more often.

We are now at the stage where we need to install ramps to enable her to access the house more easily, giving her more independence.

We currently have steps at the front and rear. Cat is unsteady on these and needs support to access the steps and doors.

A ramp will give her more independence and give her access to the garden, which she loves, and give her more opportunities to chat and socialize with friends and neighbours.
