On the 26th December when most of us were sat watching TV and still eating Christmas leftovers, two of our team from Autism Angels and two of our therapy horses set off to walk 500 miles around Yorkshire to raise awareness and funds for our charity. Unfortunately about half way round at the east coast, our saddles, girths, stirrup leathers and stirrups as well as the branded exercise sheets were stolen from our support vehicle. Despite appeals by the police and the good people of the east coast, they haven't been found or returned.

I don't want their walk to be just to replace the stolen equipment, I'd like every step they've taken from the 26th December to the 24th January to be about raising money to continue our work with the children and families.

So I've set this page up to ask people to donate as much as you can whether its a pound or lots of pounds it really will help us to replace the stolen tack. the total cost to replace it is £3000 - we had two specialist saddles each worth £1125, two girths £105 each, two specialist saddle pads £130 each Stirrup leathers to fit the saddles £55 per set (2) and stirrups £55 per set (2). Some one has kindly donated two exercise sheets which we can rebrand.

The equipment we use fits all other ridden therapy horses and a variety of sizes of bums!! We only have three saddles in total, so you can image how much we need them.
