Story

Lea Primary School are going to be offering lovely hot and nutritious lunches, cooked on site, from February half term 2021. To get this project up and running, various alterations need to be made to the current kitchen area and equipment purchased to enable it to be suitable for cooking well balanced meals onsite on a daily basis for all our pupils. The impact of healthy meals on a child’s wellbeing and their learning is well documented, so when it became clear that the current Covid-19 situation had hampered fundraising for this project, we wondered how we could help!

So, we have challenged ourselves to run or walk 120km each, during the month of January to raise funds for this important project.

We realise that this year has been very difficult for everyone but if you felt you could support this, we would be very grateful.
