Story
Hello there. Due to Freddie’s medical needs our home has become unsafe and overcrowded for him. He is no longer able to access upstairs and washing facilities. Our home also lacks space for all Freddie’s medical equipment. Originally we were intending to have our home adapted to meet his needs, but due to a change of rules over the last 12 months we are now being forced to move home. Due to Freddie’s needs, my husband and I have been forced to leave work and rely on benefits. This means that we are constantly worrying about how we’ll be able to afford the moving costs. Our housing association are actively looking for a home for us meaning we could have to move with very short notice. Somebody suggested a JustGiving a long time ago, but we felt that we should wait for something really important. We feel that moving costs was a good reason to reach out and ask for help. We’ve worked out that we’d need £600 for a months rent upfront, plus the removals costs and costs for carpets and flooring. (All council housing comes without flooring, & with Freddie’s tracheostomy we’d need to sort it out pretty fast.)
I really appreciate you taking the time to visit my JustGiving page & apologise for having to ask for help. But needs must.
