I've raised £20000 to Help launch KO Community Projects, bringing life-changing martial arts training to young people in Tower Hamlets.

We are raising £20,000 to support the launch of KO Community Projects. Launched as a spin-out from KO Combat Academy, we saw the need for a dedicated space to run pro-bono martial arts and mentoring programmes to members of the local community.
We have secured a third arch to be transformed into a dedicated community hub. Having secured funding from Investec, we are now asking our supporters and friends to help us in this next exciting venture that will support over 800 people in its inception. We currently run nine community outreach programmes, and with your support, we will be able to double the capacity in these services, as well as launching a brand new mentorship programme in the newly-refurbished arch with recently fitted facilities and equipment.
The programmes that we run and will be expanding are; boxing for 12-16 year olds, MMA for young people, 'Sport is Your Gang' (Muay Thai for young people), 'Shelve the Shank' (knife amnesty project), FWR (Fitness and Wellness in Recovery), boxing for women experiencing abuse, boxing for ex-offenders (offered as men and women only classes), LGBTQIA+ boxing, disability-inclusive training, and UCWB (boxing for Cancer Research).
With your support we will be able to provide free and life-changing fitness training for people in Tower Hamlets and beyond.
Thank you.
