During these challenging and uncertain times, children and parents in our community are being supported and cubs and scouts still meet online by zoom, with activities each week to join in. Core costs still need to be met, and because some parents during lockdown have difficulty paying subs, and there are some historic subs not paid, I want to help the group meet essential costs including rent, insurance and capitation so we can continue to keep the group going during lockdown online, and in the building when meetings can begin again.

There are many needs that have become prominent during this crisis, and I could choose others equally deserving causes to support. However, I want to respond to this local group which is so important to young people to overcome pressing challenges.
