Story
,,.Please help me to help my very dear friends, any donation would be greatly appreciated. They are good people, please take a few moments of your day to read their story.
Patrick is a beautiful baby boy who is nearly 2 years old, he was diagnosed with autism and congenital hypotonic syndrome earlier this year.
This has had a devastating effect on his parents who cannot afford the therapy he so desperately needs in order to aid his recovery, as one month's treatment exceeds the medium salary in his native country. In addition to this Patrick also needs full time care from his parents, those who know him best and can handle him with love and gentleness.
His parents lived and worked in the UK for many years, and only left in order to pursue their dream to have a baby, which was in the end accomplished in Greece after a long painful and expensive treatment.
One of the problems Patrick and his family have to face in their homeland is that the state does not support therapy for autistic children and does not make any effort to integrate them in society. The lack of treatment will have a detrimental effect on his chances of recovery.
It is a well known fact that early ABA therapy is crucial in the treatment of autistic children, so all funds raised here will be used to help pay for therapy sessions, therefore enabling Patrick to achieve some form of normality.
To cover 10 hours/week of therapy (the minimum recommended period), the cost is around £ 250. ABA therapy is needed for a long period of time so therapy sessions will extend for several years.
Become one of Patrick's guardian angels today and help him discover the beauty of life
