Story

Hi Guys - in my 50th year I thought it would be a good time to climb the Yorkshire 3 peaks!!!! I'm not attempting the 12 hour challenge, but intend to do them over a couple of days (13th and 14th July).

It would be great if you could help me raise some money for my favourite charity as part of this adventure.

Promise for Shelter Dogs Romania are a small UK charity helping to save the dogs in one kill shelter in Hunedoara Romania. They have a fantastic foster lady there who assesses the dogs before they find them loving homes. These dogs suffer a life of the cruelest brutally and abuse and desined for an apalling death if not rescued.

They are an amazing small group in the UK who put all their passion and soul into the work. They constantly struggling for funds and they pay for their own trips to Romania to do this amazing work. The only costs to adopting families in the UK is for their vaccinations and transport to the UK.

These incredible people are also heavily involved in a neutering/spaying program as this is what will get to the root of the problem and stop puppies being born in a place where puppies and dogs are treated appallingly and live in fear and hunger.

A male and female pair, if no offspring are neutered/spayed within 6 years would become 65,000 dogs !!!!

Rescuing and helping dogs avoid suffering is very close to my heart. As an owner of two dogs (and having owned others before) I can safely say we can learn so much from these wonderful creatures on how to be better people.

Everyday my dogs make me smile, make me laugh out loud, make me proud and show me they love me and all I have to do for that is be kind to them, love them and feed them!!!

Many many thanks from me and all the gorgeous and deserving wee souls you will help save.
