On Sunday 27th September, I will be taking on the Nottingham Robin Hood Half Marathon – and I would love to use the opportunity to raise some money for a few amazing local animal charities: Feline and Wildlife Rescue Nottingham, Cat Patrol, and Meow and Forever Cat Rescue.

I have seen first-hand the incredible work these charities do to rescue, treat, and rehome animals in desperate need. One of their success stories is Barney (pictured) – a beautiful boy who was found with mites, lice, an abscess, flea allergy and was in agony with his teeth. Thanks to Cat Patrol, he received the surgery he needed (his dental alone cost £750), and now he’s thriving, finally safe, loved, and living the life every cat deserves.

Every donation, no matter the size, will help these charities continue their lifesaving work and give more animals like Barney the chance of a brighter future.
