Story
Cath was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer on the 20th December 2018 called adenoid cystic carcinoma. Unfortunately without any warnings the cancer had already spread to her liver and bones.
Only 200 to 300 people were diagnosed with this form of cancer last year in the UK and it rarely responds to chemotherapy. She fought bravely against disappointment after disappointment from appointments at the Marsden, and showed so much fight and courage in the past months making some wonderful memories with her children in the short time she had.
The family have received a great deal of support from St Raphaels and jigsaw4u over the last few months, and Rich has expressed that he would like to contribute to them in memory of Cath. He would rather that people donate to these two fantastic charities rather than spend money on flowers for the funeral.
Rich and the children have a difficult time ahead of them, and we hope that setting this page up in her memory offers them some comfort, allowing them to choose in time how they distribute any donations you would like to make.
