Weʼre raising £6,500 to raise funds for a new elephant enclosure at Samui Elephant Sanctuary for rescued and elderly elephants from the logging and tourist trade.

What is crowdfunding?

Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered charity.

The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.

Story

We are raising funds on behalf of our lovely, funny and gorgeous Caz, who recently left us far too soon. She had a huge love for animals and wildlife and was so happy when the Samui Elephant Sanctuary opened it's doors, providing a haven for elderly and ex logging elephants, and those rescued from the tourist trade. These elephants have had a traumatic start in life and the sanctuary promises to let them live out their natural lives with dignity and companionship. The Sanctuary does not allow elephant riding or the washing of elephants, you simply come to observe them being elephants, in as natural surroundings as possible.
The sanctuary has just acquired bigger land up in the mountains and they need funding for the outbuildings, especially the large enclosure that will house the elephants when they sleep. So please dig deep for Caz and her beloved Samui, lets get this enclosure up and have a place that we can all visit and think about our Caz, in beautiful surroundings with the animals she adored. The enclosure will be named after Caz and we can possibly rescue a new elephant that is waiting, if we can raise the extra funds.
Thank you for your love and support :-)
