Story
We (Caroline, Victoria, Vina and Mary) are walking the 'Three Peaks of Yorkshire' in September 2019, aiming to complete the route in under 12 hours. We decided to do this on New Years Eve 2018, to give ourselves something to aim for - to prove that we really can do something so challenging and amazing - but also to spend more time together as friends as we train up for the event.
We are also hoping to raise some money along the way. As we all have children at St Michael & St John's, we decided that we would like to raise funds for their PTA. This gives money to many different parts of school life across the different year groups including funding educational resources such as reading books and outdoor equipment, paying for fixtures and fittings within school such as window blinds, and giving each class a yearly donation towards their school trip which lowers the cost for all of the children. All money raised is of direct benefit to the children who attend this wonderful school, and the more money we can raise the more we will be able to help them as part of their educational journey.
Thank you so much for supporting us - it means a great deal.
