Story
With a new wife, new job, a new house, a daughter under two and another bundle of joy due imminently, this should have been the most exciting time of Chris's life. Unfortunately, sitting in a hospital bed on his own during the Covid-19 restrictions, he received the news that we all dread - a sudden and inoperable cancer diagnosis.

Chris has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, which has spread into his liver. The surgeons were unable to surgically remove the tumour due to the difficult location and the spread, so the best option will likely be to undergo aggressive chemotherapy in the hopes of shrinking the tumor and extending Chris's life. Despite the initial shock, particularly as Chris is an exceptionally healthy and fit individual, Chris and Jen are remaining positive and exploring a number of treatment options. Clearly it will be a very difficult time regardless of their chosen path and outcome.
Chris and Jen have spent their lives helping and supporting others; whether through their charity work (including Chris's regular marathon fundraising and their regular hands on work across the world), or their leadership within schools in the UK, Singapore, Thailand, Japan and the Netherlands, or on a personal level through their love and thoughtfulness with friends and family.

We have set up this page as a response to an overwhelming number of requests from people who know and love Chris and Jen, and who want to be able to rally around and help in their time of need.
This page is asking for donations to assist Chris, Jen, Ivy and bump through what is likely to be an expensive and uncertain time. Any money received will be used to support with the additional costs associated with finding the best treatment for what is an exceptional case.
Chris and Jen need to save their energy for fighting this terrible disease and looking after their beautiful children. Anything you can do to help them avoid expending that energy on financial stress would be gratefully received.
